摘要：This invention relates to a method for equalizing a frequency-selectivetransmission channel (103) wherein said transmission channel can be represented byorthogonal sub-carriers, and wherein the transmission characteristics of said transmissionchannel can be represented by respective sub-carrier channels (201). The method uses(904) equalization filters (301, 302) for at least two of said sub-carrier channels, whereinat least one set (501) of sub-carrier channels comprising at least two of said sub-carrierchannels is formed (901), wherein for at least one sub-carrier channel in said at least oneset of sub-carrier channels, a first type of equalization filter is used, and wherein for atleast one sub-carrier channel in said at least one set of sub-carrier channels, a secondtype of equalization filter is used. The second filter is derived (903), at least partially,from said first-type equalization filter.
