my country

There is a beautiful country standing in the east of the world .She has red soil , big mountains, long rivers and hard-working people ,she is just like a diamond ,shinning all the time ,and she is my dearest country ----China !

I love China, for I love the different races within it. Each race has its own culture and customs. Some people are kind-hearted, some people are generous, and some people are humorous. Owing to these marvelous people, china has changed dramatically, and it is an integral part of the world.

China also has so many great places of interest, which is known not only to its countrymen, but also to the world. When foreigners talk about China, they will thumb up and say: \"En...China is a famous and fantastic country!”Yes, that’s true! We have the Great Wall, the world's second longest river, the oldest history and the most glorious culture. What’s more, china has a unique weather. When it is snowing in the north, the flowers have come out in the south, when the people in the south are enjoying the sunshine on the beach; the people in the north are skiing on the ice. Kunming and Hainan are two cities who have spring-like seasons. Since I am a member of this marvelous country, I am really proud of it.

At present, Chinese society is in the process of modernization, and we can see how China's rapid economic growth has created some problems. It has now become the world’s largest energy consumer, but relies on coal to supply about 70 percent of energy needs. Leading Chinese environmental campaigners have warned that water pollution is one of the most serious threats facing china now. Yet with 34.6 billion US dollars invested in clean technology in 2009, china is the world’s leading investor in renewable energy technologies. As a result, Every Chinese should shoulder his/ her responsibility and units together in order to construct a better country.
