摘要：A method and a device for moving a software are provided. The methodcomprises: determining the software information of the software to be moved (101);determining whether the software to be moved satisfies a movement condition or notaccording to the software information of the software to be moved (102); if yes, the filesin the original folder which corresponds to the information of the original folder arecopied to a moved target folder, and the original folder is deleted, a chained file whichpoints to the path of the target folder is established at the position of the originalfolder, and the target folder and the original folder are in the different disk partitions(103). The solution ensures that the software data does not lost through copying the filewhich corresponds to the software to be moved to the moved target folder, and ensuresthat the software is still accessed at the position before moved through establishing thechained file which points to the path of the target folder at the position of the originalfolder, so that the capability of the software is not influenced, and the security riskbrought by loading a drive is avoided without loading the drive. The solution can safelyand efficiently increase the available space of the disk partition.
