TheLMV7235/39haveagreaterthanrail-to-railcommonmodevoltagerange.Theinputcommonmodevoltagerangeextends200mVbelowgroundand200mVabovesupply,allowingbothgroundandsupplysensing.
TheLMV7235featuresanopendrainoutput.Byconnectinganexternalresistor,theoutputofthecomparatorcanbeusedasalevelshifter.
TheLMV7239featuresapush-pulloutputstage.Thisfeatureallowsoperationwithouttheneedofanexternalpull-upresistor.
TheLMV7235/39areavailableintheSC70-5andSOT23-5packages,whichareidealforsystemswheresmallsizeandlowpoweriscritical.

Thepropagationdelaydoesnotincreasesignificantlywithlargedifferentialinputvoltages.However,largedifferentialvoltagesgreaterthanthesupplyvoltageshouldbeavoidedtopreventdamagetotheinputstage. TheLMV7239hasapush-pulloutput.Whentheoutputswitches,thereisadirectpathbetweenVCCandground,causinghighoutputsinkingorsourcingcurrentduringthetransition.Afterthetransition,theoutputcurrentdecreasesandthesupplycurrentsettlesbacktoabout65µAat5V,thusconservingpowerconsumption. TheLMV7235hasanopendrainthatrequiresapull-upresistortoapositivesupplyvoltagefortheoutputtoswitchproperly.Whentheinternaloutputtransistorisoff,theoutputvoltagewillbepulleduptotheexternalpositivevoltage.
