摘要：The disclosure is related to a method and a system for selecting an antenna ofan access point. The method is applicable to a local area network including multipleaccess points (AP1∼AP4). A master access point (21) is first selected. The master access

point (21) acquires every access point's information within a local area network. Theinformation relates to the access points (AP1∼AP4) that are in an idle state or notperforming a critical task. A target antenna (121) can be selected for performing aspecific function. For example, the target antenna (121) can be used to scan for thechannels specified in dynamic frequency selection. After that, the scan result may result inchanging channels. Through the above mechanism, the resources in every AP within theLAN can be adequately used, and the performance of wireless communication can beeffectively improved.
