摘要：A railway coupling assembly including an insert having a first portion whichoperably receives draft forces transmitted from a coupler bar through a coupler pin. Asecond portion of the insert distributes draft forces to a yoke and reduces the intensityof stresses developed therein. A third portion of the insert reduces the magnitudes ofmoments developed in the coupler pin.
