摘要：The present invention relates to a method by which a base station performsmultiple input and multiple output (MIMO) transmission using antennas of a plurality ofcells in a multi-cell wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of:selecting a rank value and cells for downlink MIMO transmission of a terminal on thebasis of measurement information of the base station and the terminal, and determininga precoding matrix according to the rank value; and generating data which is to betransmitted to the terminal as data streams corresponding to the selected rank value,and mapping the data streams to antennas of the selected cells through a precoder soas to transmit the data streams to the terminal.
