我的老师英语作文:Respect for teacher

　　A shoe repair booth over the crowd came into my sight when I went out of the grocery supermarket. The shoe in bad condition accounted for my sharp eye for the booth. The shoe repair booth stood on the tiny space upstairs behind a building, as a result of which, it was free of the municipal inspector who was likely to drive her off.

　　The embarrassing shoe urged me to find a timely solution. I made my way to the booth which was operated by a middle-aged lady. She started her repair when I signed her to get down to work, for I was occupied by a phone call.

　　It was not long before she finished the mending, meanwhile, the call was over. The bill was about to reach her when the booth's owner offered 50 percent of discount.

　　I was surprised by her offer. Anyhow ,I turned down the unexpected discount.

　　"You're a teacher by occupation, aren't you? " she asked.

　　"Yes. How do you know my job?"I felt curious. "Your phone call exposed it!" She added,"you're so responsible for your students !" I felt so blessed with such a stranger."I wish my son could be a learner in your school." she concluded with a sigh.

　　“Your son will make it!” I gave the wish to her.

　　I withdrew from the booth before she thrusted the discount into my hand.

　　The story occurs to me from time to time. I have been grateful to the booth owner who attached herself to the teacher despite her poor life.
