　　邀请信

　　英文邀请信通常包含三个方面：

　　1.邀请对方参加活动的内容、时间和地点;

　　2.与该活动有关的注意事项;

　　3.期待对方接受邀请，并可表示感谢。

　　We are overjoyed to be informed that you will attend an international conference in our city. We are writing this letter to invite you to deliver a lecture on the difference between American school courses and Chinese school courses literature on the evening of May 16th. We wonder if you can spare time to join us.

　　We have long noticed that you have done a lot of creative work in this field. Two of your books have been the focus of our student society for years. All of us are driven to believe your lecture will make a difference to us students and teaching staff alike. If you manage to come, please tell us the number of your flight and we will pick you up at the airport. If you can’t make it, please get us informed as well.

　　We are looking forward to your reply.
