无论是权威的英美词典，如牛津词典或剑桥词典，都没有提及"be aimed to do sth."的用法。Longman词典明确指出，这样的用法是错误的。
我们的*旨在鼓励经济增长。
这句正确表述为："Our policies are aimed at encouraging economic growth."
会谈的目的是找到一个双方都同意的解决办法。
正确表述："The talks are aimed at finding a mutually agreeable solution."
这些措施旨在防止暴力犯罪。
正确表述："These measures are aimed at preventing violent crime."
