What is beauty？
It is human nature that all of us should be fond of beauty. Everybody was born with a heart for beauty.
Today in China,with the rising of our living standard, people's requirement of beauty has been heightened accordingly. Some people spare no money or energy on beautiful clothes, fashionable hair styles,the decoration of their houses and even the improvement of their looks. But it seems to me,all these are more or less confined to the beauty in appearance,or rather,the outward beauty.
• APPEARANCE 外表 a quality that a person or a place has that makes them very attractive to look at.
• GOOD QUALITY 优质 a quality that something such as a poem, song, emotion etc has, which gives you pleasure and joy.
• ADVANTAGE 长处 the beauty of~ a particularly good quality that makes something suitable and useful.
Everybody likes beautiful people.
Everybody wants to be beautiful to have beautiful impression on other people. Whole world's cosmetics are just working on to make women beautiful, but it is
true that you can buy things with money but can't buy real beauty. You just can buy things with money to make it true.
It is true that you look like nice if you have white skin, but just having white skin is not everything. It doesn't have to do everything with your personality. And instead of that the person whose skin color is okay (neither white neither black) can have better personality than the person having white skin color.
Everything that shines doesn't mean its gold. If people are successful, it is not because they are physically beautiful, It is just of their intelligence, the way they understand, their own understandings, their knowledge and their positive attitudes.
Our appearance is important.
Whether we are interested in dressings or make-ups or not, our
appearance is still one part of our beauty. However, it does not mean that we must have to follow so-called beautiful or fashionable standard. What we need is a proper way to show our respect in some special occasion with suitable dress-up.
But if we pay too much attention merely on the appearance, then it is just skin deep.
The beauty is what is in your inside, that is beauty and that will live forever. Beauty is in good things what you do. Your nice behavior with others, the way you understand a person, the way you trust a person, the way you love a person, the way you care, the way you share, your honesty and your self- confidence. It makes your personality so beautiful.
In my opinion,we shouldn't only pay attention to beautiful appearance and neglect the beautification of the mind and what we are after should be the
perfect unity of the outward beauty and the inner beauty. As we all know,so far as objects and animals are concerned,there is only beautiful appearance to be mentioned, but to us humanbeings, although the outward beauty really matters, the inner beauty is much more important. This was confirmed by a famous Russian writer in words much like this: \"A person is
not lovely for being beautiful but beautiful for being lovely. \"
One thing to remember: People will forget what you say; People will
forget what you do; but they will never forget what you made them feel. You are unique, and your character is unique. Never feel any kind of lack in you. To live wonderful you have to feel wonderful!
Beautiful person is that who does beautiful, who says beautiful and who feels beautiful and helps other people to do the same!
