arranged that the sensor is adapted to receive radiation reflected from the externalsurface of the cup within the machine, the arrangement being such that if no positiveindication of cup presence is received in the correct control sequence of the controlmeans then the control means is disenabled to prevent further function of the machineuntil the deficiency has been rectified.
