Lesson 12 Rain and Sun

教学目的与要求:

能听、说、读、写下列单词: sun cloud rain wind snow 能区别下列单词的意义与用法:

sun- sunny cloud-cloudy rain-rainy wind-windy snow-snowy 复习12个月。 教具准备:

教师准备:节日和节日日期的卡片,12个月的单词卡片,学生准备:游戏What Day Is It?所需卡片,用来画画的纸。 教学步骤与方法: 师生相互问候 Greeting each other.

T: How’s the weather? S: It’s … Review “hot & cold”

T: Are you hot (cold) today? / How do you feel? / … T: What day is it?

Play a game : What day is it?将学生分组做这个游戏,然后出示几个日期,学生分组抢答。 出示一幅夏季多彩的图画,做游戏:Colour Point. 新授 I Number 1

利用这幅画,师提问:How’s the weather? S: It’s sunny.

T: Yes, the weather is sunny. And What’s this? (Teacher is pointing the sun) T: This is the sun. (Teacher asks the question again. Ask the students try to answer) Show the word-card “sun ”

T: Is the sun hot or cold? / Do you like hot or cold? / Do you like the sun? 出示图画

T: Is the weather sunny?

S: No, the weather is cloudy . / No, the weather is rainy. (The weather is cloudy and rainy.) T: (Teacher points to the cloud and the rain)

What’s this? (通过sunny-sun的构词特点,引导学生通过cloudy和rainy回答出cloud, rain ) 给与敢于尝试回答的学生鼓励。

T: Yes, this is the cloud and this is the rain.出示单词卡片 cloud and rain 并领读. T: Do you like the cloud? Do you like the rain? S: Yes, I like the cloud./ No, I don’t like the rain. 出示单词卡片,两个卡片位置云在上,雨在下 . T: Where is the cloud? S: The cloud is above the rain. T: Where is the rain?

S: The rain is below the cloud.

T: Is the cloud above? /Is the rain below?

S:Yes, the cloud is above. / Yes, the rain is below. Windy(出示图画) T: How’s the weather?

S: The weather is windy. T: What are these? S: They’re leaves.

T: Look. What is blowing the leaves ? (使用肢体语言表现blow这个词的意思.) (教师提示:Is it the rain? Is it the cloud ?) S: (通过构词特点的提示) The wind .

T: The wind is blowing the tree’s leaves.(师运用肢体语言,带读该句.) T: Do you like wind? S: Yes. / No. 4. Snowy. (出示图画)

T: Is it rainy? S: No, it’s snowy. T: Do you like it? What is it? S: It’s snow. T: Is the snow hot? S: No, it’s cold. T: Do you like snow? S: Yes. I like the snow. T: Why? S: Because the snow is cold. T: I like the snow because snow is cold and white.

5. 调查表(用实物投影)

要求: 成员画出自己喜欢的天气.每组发给调查表,教师先作示范,小组活动,每组成员告诉其他人自己的喜好. 师检查调查成果:

T: What do you like? S: I like the sun. T:Why? S: Because the sun is hot. 6. Follow the tape 7. Game:

一个学生抽一张卡片,全组齐说:This is the sun . S: The weather is sunny. II Learn to sing a song

1 . T: Next I think you’ll like it very much. We’ll sing a song

Before we learn it. Let’s review the months of the year.(出示12个月的单词卡片, 要求学生快速读出.)

2. 在黑板上写1-12学生相应说出January – December 并贴在黑板相应的位置. T: Listen to the song. See what you can hear.

学生分别说出自己听出的单词,然后在实物投影下看歌曲中的图画,然后听第二遍,听出每幅图出现在那几个月份中,听出的学生将图贴在黑板相应的位置. 并将歌曲中的新词带读几遍. 3. Let’s learn to sing the song with the body language. 课堂反思:

1 在复习部分, 复习了hot 和 cold 等表感觉的词,为本课学生表达为什么喜欢这几个气象做准备. 2. 在新授过程中, 利用学过的天气的词,分析构词法, 得出本科新词.这样, 既学习了新词, 又渗透了构词法, 相信学生的记忆会更深刻.

3. 肢体语言的运用. 在The wind is blowing the leaves. 一句中动作和 blowing结合为一体; 在歌曲中, 加入了肢体语言,使歌曲更有趣, 并化难为易.
