摘要：A display device (display unit) for vehicles has a display element emitting displaylight. It has a reflecting member (reflecting mirror) for reflecting the display light. It has adrive means for angularly moving the reflecting member at a first speed at ordinarytimes or at a second speed greater than the first speed. When an ignition switch is turned
off, the drive means angularly moves the reflecting member to an angular position wherethe sunlight is not reflected by the display element and when the ignition switch is turnedon, it angularly moves the reflecting member to an original position where the displaylight is visible at the second speed.
