Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this reference at the request of Jiaying Kang who is applying to study in your school. I knew Jiaying the Jimei University when she was a senior student. Jiaying took Web Programming from me and earned superior grades in the class. Based on her grades, attendance and class participation, I'd rate her academic performance in my class as superior.
She is an enthusiastic student. When coming across any question of the programming, she would always collaborate with her classmates or discuss it with me. I could see that she was making the progress everyday in my class. She has earned a high grade of 87 for the final examination and ranked among the top ten percent of the class.
She is a student who enjoys study. She often borrowed books from the school library with an unquenchable thirst for understanding of the knowledge in her field of study. Her endeavor was not only to excel on my course but on all the branches of Computer Science.
During the Design of Graduation program, she was given the task to accomplish a residential property management system, which required the knowledge of the C# programming language she was not familiar with. In order to acquire the knowledge of C#, she read many books related to the subject. She performed well as a team member and her work was impressive.
I would highly recommend Kang, Jiaying because of her spirit of enthusiasm, desire and determination for good quality graduate work. In my opinion, she has a great potential as a researcher in Computer Science. I am firmly convinced that she will perform outstandingly when she joins your school.
