摘要：An optical biaxially oriented polyester film, an adhesive film and a colored hardcoat film, which can be adhered to the image display surface of a CRT or liquid crystaldisplay device to improve the contrast and color purity of the CRT or the liquid crystaldisplay device without deteriorating the brightness, can be provided. A biaxially orientedpolyester film, characterized in that the film contains a coloring matter; (1) a wavelength(X) of the maximum absorption peak of light in wavelengths of 540 to 630 nm is in therange of 560 to 610 nm; (2) a half band width of the maximum absorption peak of thelight is not more than 80 nm; a value (Tx/T540), obtained by dividing a light transmittance(Tx) at the wavelength (X) by a light transmittance (T540) at a wavelength of 540 nm, isless than 0.80; a value (T620/T540), obtained by dividing a light transmittance (T620) atthe wavelength of 620 nm by a light transmittance (T540) at a wavelength of 540 nm, is inthe range of 0.5 to 1.5; and a value (T450/T540), obtained by dividing a light
transmittance (T450) at the wavelength of 450 nm by a light transmittance (T540) at awavelength of 540 nm, is in the range of 0.5 to 1.5, an adhesive film, and a colored hardcoat film.
