中考专项突破

专题一 听力理解

中考听力试题主要分为情景反应、对话理解、短文理解、短文填表。由于地域不同,在题型的设计上和所占试卷分数比例上各有不同。听力测试以考查学生对口语的理解为主要目的,要求学生能听懂发音清楚、语速正常的对话或独白。

解题指导 题型一 句子理解 1. 题型概述

听力试题对句子理解的考查方式有三种: ⑴ 根据听到的句子,选择正确的答语。

⑵ 根据听到的句子,选择意思相同或相近的选项。

⑶ 看图、听录音,从各组图画中选出与听到的句子意思相符的选项。 2. 技巧点拨

做句子理解题目,必须首先听懂句子的意思,然后才能根据不同题型的要求进行选择。

⑴ “选择正确的答语”这种题型着重考查考生对日常交际用语的掌握情况。答语有两种:一种是非提问式应答,如:Happy birthday to you. 正确答语应是Thank you;另一种是提问式应答,如:Would you like another cake?其肯定答语可能为Yes, please. 或Yes, just a little. 否定答语为No, thanks. 或No, thank you. I’m full. 前一种应答方式一般有固定答语,通常是习惯说法;后一种应答方式要根据情况灵活作答,回答时应遵循问什么就答什么,绝不能答非所问。

⑵ “选择意思相同或相近的选项”这种题型着重考查考生灵活运用语言的能力,这一题型其实是用听力的方式来考查同义句的转换,关键是要听懂句子的意思。

⑶ “选择相应的图画”这种题型在本质上与同义句转换没有多大的区别,但在形式上却有很大的改进。做这种题,既要听懂句子的意思,还要能看懂图画。 3. 实例解析

【答案与解析】此类题型主要考查一些同义句的转换。同义句转换不但听力能考到,有时在笔试题中也能考到,因此,平时要加强这方面的练习,特别要熟记一些同义词(组)。第1题主要考查同义词be able to和can,录音中使用的是be able to一般过去时的否定形式,句子意思为“吉姆没能吃了所有的水果。”,首先应排除C;A、B两项中could用的肯定形式,但两句意思不同,前者表示“吉姆能吃了所有的水果。”,后者意思是“吉姆只吃了一些水果。”与原文意思基本一致。第2题主要考查take, spend, pay for和cost用法上的区别,B项用的是trousers与原文语音区别很大,首先排除;cost的主语是物,也就是所买的东西。 ⑶听音选图,根据你听到的内容,选择正确的图画。 1.

在中考英语听力试题中,对话理解题分两种形式:一是简短对话,即通过几句简短的对白对学生进行单一项目的考查;二是较长对话,通过一段比较长的对白考查学生细节的理解,有时也进行综合理解能力以及推测分析能力等的考查。 2. 技巧点拨

对话理解的中考题型主要有听对话选择正确答案或图画。这两种题型都属于客观题,都有3个供选择的选项,我们可以根据所给选项进行预测,然后听对话,判断说话人的身份、人与人之间的关系、说话的场合、表达的思想内容等,最后选出正确的答案。该题读两遍,第一遍专心听并预选答案,第二遍核实并确定答案。 3. 实例解析 ⑴ 直接判断法

此类试题一般要注意对5个W和1个H (who, what, when, why, where, how)等细节的考查,为了提高准确率,我们按照以下几个步骤解答这类试题: ⑴ 快速预览,有备无患。

通过预览,我们首先对长对话的考查内容有所了解,这样我们听录音时就具有了针对性,从而减少了我们记忆的内容,提高了答题的准确率。 ⑵ 边听边记,减少遗忘。

由于录音内容比较长,加之录音涉及人物、数据、情节等众多内容,因此需要我们在认真听录音的同时,还要简明扼要地做好相关记录,这样才能不因遗忘而误选答案。 ⑶ 听后理顺关系,把握中心问题。

对于长对话理解题,听前和听中所得到的各种信息要做到前后联系,迅速优化组合,从中理清说话者的思路。 ◆实例解析

短文理解是一项综合性的听力理解测试。在试卷上一般有五道选择题或判断题,要求考生先听一遍完整的录音,理解短文的大意,然后再根据短文内容选择最佳答案或判断正误。新课程标准中要求考生“能听懂故事中对人和事的描写、情节发展及结果”,并“能识别对话中的重要信息并进行简单推断”。 2. 技巧点拨

⑴ 听短文前快速浏览各题的选项,以便预览短文可能涉及哪些方面的内容;

⑵ 听的过程中,一定要注意记清文中所涉及的人物(who)、事件(what)、事件(when)、地点(where)等。 ⑶ 注意听短文的首句和首段,它们往往是对短文内容的概括,如讲话目的、主要内容、作者论点、故事发生的时间、地点及事由等。

⑷ 注意力要集中在整体内容的理解上,千万不要只停留在个别单词或句子上。对一时难有听清楚的词或句子要马上放弃,不要强迫自己听清每一个词,要把重点放在听关健词即实词上,一边听一边把要点记下来。这样有助于更准确地找出正确答案。 ◆实例解析

专题二 词汇运用

中考词汇考查题主要是考查学生对大纲所要求的词汇的掌握程度,重点是词汇的含义和拼写,同时兼顾学生的词汇运用能力。今年来,这类试题更多的十把单词放在句中或特定的语境中进行考查,形式灵活多样。常见的题型有:词语释义、单词拼写和词性转换等。

解题指导 题型一 词语释义

词语释义考查涉及语法、词汇、惯用法、句型、口语交际等方面,题目比较灵活、覆盖面广,但多数题目直接源于初中课本,近年来该题型一改过去只考查语法、词意传统,目前它的考查范围和命题方式有了一些明显的变化。 1. 题目重视语境的创设,答题时必须首先吃透语境,把握题干的全部信息,进行合理的推断,并从语法、句型以及习惯搭配等角度全方位考虑。

2. 规范的词语释义题,划线部分总是词、词组或短语而不可能是句子;要解释的词组或短语通常从字面上看不出它的含义;所设选项在语法是正确的,及每个选项都能替换划线部分,从而确保考查的是真正的词语意思。 3. 强调在情境对话中考查语言知识,许多题目是由对话构成题干,使词语释义的考查更灵活、更生活化。 4. 制定题目时,注重干扰和迷惑,通过各种手段考查综合运用语言的能力。 1. 解题技巧点拨

⑴ 首先学会根据上下文猜测词意,其次准确理解初中课本中的重点单词和短语。 ⑵ 掌握固定搭配,熟记习惯表达,认真研读初中课本出现的重要单词或短语。 ⑶ 认真观察思考划线部分的单词或短语,联想出它的另一种表达形式。 ⑷ 分类比较,注重鉴别,利用排除法找出答案。 ⑸ 重视语境,综合考虑,避免思维定势的干扰。

单词拼写是目前中考常用的词汇检测形式,用于检测考生对常用词的分辨能力和活用能力。此类试题的每一小题都有一定的情景,是一种在语境中测试单词较为科学的、立体化的词汇测试形式。 1. 技巧点拨

⑴ 审句意、理关系、推敲词义。

因所缺单词隶属句子并与其他单词有密不可分的联系,故其解答方法就是先审清句意。在审句意时,我们可以把句子分为两类:一是复合句和并列句;二是简单句。对于携带信息较多的前者,主要是根据前后关系来推敲词义。例如:Wei Fang’s computer is broken. She will ask Uncle Liu to m_____ it for her. 电脑坏了就应找人修,根据这种因果关系应填mend。

同理,我们可以根据前后句的并列关系、同一关系、包含关系、转折关系等推测词义。 ⑵ 依常识、选短语、必符实际。

简单句所携带的信息比复合句要少得多,故一般不能像复合句那样仅依靠句子本身的信息还应依靠生活常识、短语搭配来完成。例如:Is there a post o_____ near here?

此题凭语感、靠经验得知a post office是常见搭配,故填office。 ⑶ 语法清、结构明、确定词形。

我们在推敲出词义后,还应该确定词形,也就是根据语法、结构等判定下其时态、单复数、比较等级等形式的变化,否则就会前功尽弃。例如:Our work starts at eight, and f_____ at twelve. 此题前后句为并列关系,时态一致,动词应填“第三人称单数”形式finishes。

⑷ 根据汉语提示填词要从语法的角度,认真检查所填英语单词的词形是否正确。如果填的是名词,要注意它们是单数还是复数;如果填的是形容词、副词,要注意它们是否需要用比较级或最高级;如果是动词,要注意它们的时态、语态等。 2. 实例解析

这是各地中考的常测项目,用以考查学生能否转换词性形式,能否正确使用词性,其考查内容如下:1. 名词的复数;2. 形容词、副词的比较等级;3. 动词的四种形式;4. 基数词和序数词;5. 形容词和副词的转换;6. 名词、动词及形容词的转换;7. 代词格的转换;8. 同义词、反义词及同音词。 1. 技巧点拨

词形转换主要考查对基础知识的掌握和综合运用能力、在中考题中全国大部分省市都考查了词形转换题。词形转换题一般有两种出题形式,一种是按括号内的要求转换词形;一种是根据句意,用括号内所给词的适当形式填空。 第一种题型比较简单,要做好它需靠平时多积累,强化记忆即可。而第二种题型较复杂,它涉及动词的时态、语态以及各类词之间的相互转化等。要做好此题型必须注意以下几点: ⑴ 通读全句,弄清句意;

⑵ 弄清所给单间的词性和词义以及具体要求;

⑶ 不能只考虑到词性转换,要考虑到该词所处的语境及其他词对它的限制; ⑷ 注意单词拼写务必要正确。 2. 实例解析

专题三 单项选择

单项选择题考查内容广泛,涉及词汇、语法、习语、日常用语等。在有限的题量中注意知识的覆盖面,设计特定的语境综合考查学生在一定的语境中运用语言知识的能力。近年来的中考单项选择题侧重于对语言基础知识的考查,主要有以下几个特点:加强交际运用,重视语境设置,侧重语法知识考查,注重试题的综合性。

解题指导

要想做好单项选择题,一要具备扎实的英语基础知识;二要紧扣语言环境,抓住关键词语;三要掌握一些做单项选择题的思路、方法、原则和技巧。这就需要考生对所学知识进行综合比较,灵活运用,选出最佳答案。解答此类试题的方法和技巧很多,现把几种常见的方法列举如下。 一、直接判定法

这种方法就是直接运用已掌握的英语知识,结合题干所提供的信息,从候选项中选出正确答案。几乎所有的英语测试,选择填空题中总有一部分非常容易,有时只看到题干,没看候选项,便知道正确答案应该是什么,对于这一部分较易解答的题目,考生应该做到眼疾手快,一眼看准,立即选出,以便节省出更多的时间去对付其他较难的题。 【例题】

这种方法就是根据所掌握的各种语法知识从语境进行分析比较,最后选定正确答案。有些单选题有一定的难度,不能很快选定答案。可以根据选项两两相同的特点将其分成两类,进行比较。先排除一类,然后比较剩下一类的两个选项,最后两者择一。这种方法尤其适用于辨析同义词、同义词组、习惯用法、动向的时态和语态以及主谓一致等方面。 【例题】

完形填空是关于语言总体理解的一种测试形式,涉及到词汇、语法、逻辑推理等各种知识。这类题目,要求考生知识面要广,要有比较扎实的基本功;要掌握大量的单词、词组和习语,了解他们的各种变化形式和用法;要有坚实的语法基础、熟练掌握和运用动词的时态、语态及句子结构的能力。

解题指导 题型一 单项选择型 1. 技巧点拨

⑴ 通读全文,了解大意。

通读全文时,跳过空格快速阅读,弄清文章的基本含义。先快速阅读全文,可使我们对文章的整体结构和中心思想有个基本的了解。有利于进一步把握全文所讲内容,篇章结构,时态语态的变化,为后面的答题创造条件。但通读宜粗、直、快。切忌看一句做一句,看一空填一空,断章取义,那会进入误区,即使所填答案符合本句要求,也未必符合全文的要求。通读的目的仅在于掌握大意,切不可把宝贵的时间浪费在个别字句的推敲上。

⑵ 重视首句的开篇启示作用。

完形填空所采用的短文一般不给标题,但短文的首句通常用以点明短文的性质,如叙事、议论等,这是我们探索短文全貌的“窗口”。可以以首句的时态、语态为立足点进行思考,判断文章的体裁,推测全文的大意及主题。所以应该重视首句的启示作用。 ⑶ 抓住关键词,根据上下文解题。

解题时,要遵循忠于全文大意和主题这一原则,联系上下文展开逻辑推理分析,要迅速找出那些在短文中起重要作用的关键词,了解所提问题的特定语境,语篇中的内在关系。

在解题过程中,应遵循“先易后难”的原则,遇到个别难题不易判断时,可先跳过去,去解决那些靠上下文能确定的、比较直接明确的问题,随着下文的展开和文章的深入,或许在前面难以判断的题,下文就有暗示,甚至有明确的表示。因此,在选择答案时,应特别注意联系前后句,充分利用上下文为确定答案提供的有用信息。 ⑷ 重读全文,验证答案。

第一步:认真审题,看清要求。

动笔之前一定要先读题目要求。不要上去就写,弄错体裁,造成不必要的失误。第一步审题就要弄清写的体裁、要点、大意、字数等。还可以通过要点、大意的提示来确定文章的基本时态。如描述过去事实的题目基本时态为一般过去时;如说明药品服用方法、介绍人物的特点、一个临时发言或旅行介绍的题目,基本时态就为一般现在时。

英语书信一般分信头,信内地址、称呼、正文、结束语和签名等几部分。

⑴ 信头。信头就是写信人的地址和日期,写在书信正文的右上角。顺序是先写地址,后写日期。地址的顺序由小到大。日期的顺序是:日、月、年或月、日、年。

⑵ 信内地址。信内地址就是收信人的姓名和地址。低于信头1~2行,写在书信的左上方,即在呼的上方。顺序是先写收信的姓名,再写地址,地址也是由小到大。

⑶ 称呼。称呼就是对收信人的称呼。从左边顶格写,占一行。称呼一律在人名前加上Dear。如Dear Mary, Dear Mr. Gao, Dear Doctor等。

⑷ 正文和结束语。正文是书信的主要部分。下文从称呼下隔一行开始,开头空4个字母的空间。结束语写在正文下方的2~3行的位置,从信纸中央偏右的地方写起。一般用Yours,后加逗号,然后另起一行,写上写信人的姓名。 ◇通知

书面通知通常以布告形式出现。为醒目起见,标题的每个字母一般都大写。内容要遵循“四多一少”,即被动语态多,将来时态多,简单句多,祈使句多,修饰性词语少。通知要有四“W”,即what, who, when, where。书面通知一般没有称呼语,通常用第三人称。书面通知由四部分组成: ⑴ 标题:在正文上面正中的地方写上NOTICE或Notice。 ⑵ 正文:说明通知的具体时间、地点、活动内容和注意事项。

便条种类很多,常用的有请假条、电话记录、遗失或招领和留言条等。便条常写在纸条上,内容简明易懂、言简意赅,能说明问题即可。请假条和留言条的格式与书信一致,而电话记录却不太一样,要简要地写明打电话者和应接电话者的姓名、日期、时间及电话内容大意,最后落款为接电话人的姓名。 ◇倡议书

倡议书是公开提倡某种做法,倡导某项活动,鼓励别人响应的一种信函文书。倡议书—般由标题、称呼、正文、结尾、落款五部分组成。倡议书的内容要积极向上,值得呼吁,切实可行。倡议书的背景、目的要写清楚,理由要充分,措辞要恰当,情感要真挚,同时要富有鼓动性,且篇幅不宜太长。 ◇发言稿

Have you ever had trouble sleeping in a new place?

Lots of people do. And now researchers from Brown University in Rhode Island think they knew why. They found that one-half of the brain “remains more awake” than the other half when people are trying to sleep in a new place.

The sleep findings were reported in Current Biology by Brown University. In their report, the researchers said many people report they have a harder time sleeping the first night at a hotel or other places outside their home. They call it “first-night influence”. “In Japan they say, ‘If you change your bed, you don’t sleep,’” said Yuka Sasaki, one of the report’s writers. “You don’t sleep very well in a new place. We all know about it. ”

The researchers measured brain waves (测量脑波) for 35 volunteers over two nights in a laboratory. The two nights were a week apart (间隔). They found during the first night the left half of the brain was more active than the right half. This was during the first deep-sleep period, the researchers said. Sasaki said a lot of questions remain.

Researchers did not keep measuring brain waves all night long. So, they don’t know it the left half keeps “watch” all night, or whether it “works in shifts (轮换) with the right half later in the night”. They also do not know why the brain activity, at least during the first period of deep sleep, is always on the left half.

For some, this research may be calming. It is good to know that our brain is “looking out for us” in a new place. But it may not help with sleep. That brain activity, at least according to this new research, makes it harder to get the sleep people need to wake up well rested in the morning.

In my opinion, I’ll try my best to make our city cleaner and more beautiful. Firstly, I can save water by taking shorter showers. Secondly, I can save energy by turning off the lights when I leave the room. In a word, everyone can do something to make a difference.
