摘要：A medical imaging device and apparatus () having an x-ray detector () formed ofa plurality of semiconductor pixel detectors (), each having an associated electric circuit ()and counter (FIG. B). In use, a subject disposed between an x-ray generator (FIG. ) and the

x-ray detector (), and is irradiated and the x-rays incident upon the pixel detectors () aredirectly converted into a corresponding electrical signal which is digitised by the electriccircuit () and counted by the counter (). These digitised electrical signals represent theenergy and incidence position of the absorbed x-rays and can be manipulated to providean image representative of the x-rayed subject. The image may be such that visualanalysis may be performed in real time.
