小红帽的故事原文完整版英文

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. One day, her mother asked her to take some food to her grandmother who lived in a cottage in the woods. Little Red Riding Hood happily agreed and set off on her journey, skipping through the woods.

As she walked, she met a wolf who asked her where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood innocently told him that she was going to visit her grandmother and showed him the basket of food she was carrying. The wolf quickly came up with a plan to eat both Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.

The wolf ran ahead to the grandmother's house and knocked on the door. When the grandmother asked who was there, the wolf replied in a disguised voice, \"It's me, Little Red Riding Hood.\" The trusting grandmother let the wolf in, not knowing it was a trick.

The wolf quickly ate her up and disguised himself in her clothing and got into her bed. When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she entered the cottage and was surprised to see her grandmother looked different. She asked the wolf why her grandmother had such big ears, eyes, and teeth. The wolf replied that it was to hear her better, see her better, and eat her better.

But Little Red Riding Hood was clever and quickly realized that the wolf was not her grandmother. She bravely ran out of the house and sought help from a nearby woodsman who came to her rescue.

The woodsman killed the wolf and saved Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned to never trust strangers and always be cautious in the woods.

The story of Little Red Riding Hood has been told and retold for centuries. It serves as a cautionary tale for children to beware of strangers but also shows the power of bravery and quick thinking in times of danger.
