Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl. Everyone who saw her liked her, but most of all, her grandmother loved her best of all. So she made the little girl a red riding hood to wear, and it suited her so well that she came to be called Little Red Riding Hood.

One day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother said to her, 'Take this basket of goodies to your grandmother, she's not feeling well and needs some loving care.'

So Little Red Riding Hood set off with the basket of goodies to her grandmother's house. On the way, she met a sly old wolf. He asked Little Red Riding Hood where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood said, 'I'm taking this basket of goodies to my grandmother's house.'

But the wolf knew exactly where Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother lived and had an evil plan. He said to Little Red Riding Hood, 'Why don't you take a shortcut through the forest? You'll get there much quicker.'

Little Red Riding Hood did not realize the wolf was trying to trick her and agreed to take the shortcut.

The wolf ran ahead of Little Red Riding Hood and arrived

at the grandmother's house first. He knocked on the door and when the grandmother opened it, the wolf jumped into the bed and covered himself with the bed cover.

When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she was surprised to see the wolf in her grandmother's bed. She said, 'What big ears you have, Grandmother!'

The wolf said, 'The better to hear you with, my dear,' Then Little Red Riding Hood said, 'What big eyes you have, Grandmother!'

The wolf said, 'The better to see you with, my dear.' Little Red Riding Hood quickly realised that the wolf was trying to fool her and ran out of the room. She ran as fast as she could and luckily, a woodcutter was nearby and heard her cries for help.

The woodcutter ran into the room and saw the wolf in the bed. He threw a heavy stone at the wolf and the wolf ran away. The woodcutter had saved Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. They thanked him for his help and they all lived happily ever after.。
