【预测7】2012年至2015年中国人均阅读量变化(☆)
①The line chart shows the tendency of people's choices of reading e-books or traditional paper books from 2012 to 2015 in China. ②To be specially, the number of e-books read by one Chinese each year increased significantly from above 2 in 2012to 6 in 2015. By contrast, the number of traditional books read by one person decreased from above 4 to 3 during the same time. ③ It can be noticed that, after the year of 2013, people began to pay more attention to e-books than to paper books when they read materials. ④As a result, whether e-books will replace traditional ones has emerged as ahot topic. ⑤Admittedly, some people hold that due to the convenience and the low cost of reading e- books, it is possible that e-books will become the substitute for traditional books. ⑥In my opinion, however, e-books cannot compete with paper books in the following aspects. Firstly, you can bring and read a paper book whenever and wherever you are, but you cannot always have a usable e-reader device. ⑦Secondly, as to note-taking, scanning and skimming, paper books have moreadvantages. ⑧Above all, it is wise to choose the way of reading according to one’s needs. ⑨Both e-books and paper books are intimate friends of readers.
